Amazon’s Prime Day Approaches

Now that it looks like Prime Day is coming up in mid - October, we have a few helpful tips to get you prepared.

  • Ship in as much inventory as possible. Amazon has been restricting sellers on Vendor Central and Seller Central with inventory limits. Sending is as much as you can now will make sure you’re adequately in stock when October and the Holiday season rolls around.

  • Optimize all your listings. Make sure you use all your image slots and bullet points. Make sure your title accurately describes your item and sets you apart from competitors.

  • Advertising up to date. With the increased traffic over Prime Day and the Holiday shopping season coming up quickly, you’ll want to make sure daily budgets are set correct. Some brands like to raise their bids 2X or 3X to keep up with competitors.

  • Set up at least one promotion. With Prime Day, people expect a deal. We recommend having at least one promotion or coupon on. If margins are thin, put a 10% coupon on the highest profit margin ASIN for 2 days.
